EHPAD Les Genêts d'Or

Nursing Home, 2nd floor: Les Daims. A human-scale facility providing excellent care for our dependent elderly. I had lunch with my grandmother, a resident, and frankly, the meal was perfect. Everything is done to bring them pleasure; the staff are truly attentive. Special mention goes to the healthcare assistant with his children's names tattooed on his body—a real gem, always smiling, his empathy shines through. He truly believes in what he does, and I hope he progresses to a nursing assistant position and then to a registered nurse. We'll come back to the rest of the equally deserving staff later. Now for the specifics: my grandmother was 93 years old at the time of admission on October 12th; the decision to place her in the facility was made jointly (family, attending physician). Following a simple fall at home, she became unable to walk when being helped up, with no possibility of recovery. We opted for placement in a care facility. I won't go into detail about all the underlying comorbidities, but at that moment it was already time to prepare for a final goodbye. You took over everything I do every day for others, something I couldn't do myself, nor did I have the strength to do for my grandmother. All I can say is a simple thank you. You were all there when she passed away: the caregiver who dressed her—hats off to her—and the registered nurse who reassured us. Thank you again. Aurore, granddaughter of Marie Jeanine DURAND.

My husband is in USLD the staff is very attentive to families and patients I just deplore the lack of animation for this service when some patients can benefit from it there is a program on Facebook but unfortunately even if it is marked for the USLD there is nothing at all this should be remedied Thank you try to do what is necessary to occupy the patients who can

Service (USSR) not recommended _Quality of human relations: some people are rude (remarks to patients). _No continuity of care and medications prescribed by a colleague.

A director who allows himself to flout regulations. No respect for either caregivers or patients.
