Along the road, I only knew the other side of the story: buildings of prison-like austerity. Discovering the place: its gardens and buildings, is a wonderful surprise. Led by a highly passionate facilitator, the discovery of a place designed for self-sufficient living is dazzling. The buildings that rise in "the shadow of Constant Coquelin," the initiator of this project, leave you speechless. A superb achievement. A haven of peace and beauty for the residents of this retirement home. It is possible to park your car in a free, undeveloped space on the side of the building. The site is rarely open. Be on the lookout for open days such as Heritage Days (be careful, the number of visitors is limited). Free admission. Group visits are possible, but there is a fee. Call ahead.

Very beautiful, well-managed park. I know the park very well. The garden is magnificent and well-designed, and it's worth it.

A beautiful, historic facility with a pleasant little park; The welcome and care provided to residents are commendable, as is the support offered during their final moments without aggressive treatment; however, improvements to the food would be appreciated. Our gratitude goes to the staff for their daily commitment to providing compassionate care.

My father spent the last months of his life in the "artists' house" before passing away. He was welcomed with great warmth and care. We didn't choose this residence by chance: the magnificent building retains a gentle atmosphere with its woodwork, frescoes, and incredible grounds maintained by a passionate gardener. After visiting several nursing homes that too often gave us the feeling of entering a hospital, this one stood out, offering more intimate and welcoming living spaces. Furthermore, the cost seemed reasonable compared to other nursing homes in the area. The healthcare team reflects this: patient, attentive, and even cheerful. And yet, I was able to appreciate how difficult the work is. The daily weekday activities helped my father find time less drag, meet new people, and find his place despite his very confused mind at the time. This is thanks to the very professional and dedicated activity leader. I thank her very warmly. My father looked forward to the meals prepared on-site. The director and the coordinating nurse, not to mention the housekeeper, were always available to listen to me and address my concerns. I am therefore happy to have made this choice and to have been able to calmly accompany my father during this difficult time thanks to the valiant and welcoming support of all the staff in this beautiful "artists' house." Thank you to them.

At first glance, you are blinded by the building and the very well-maintained gardens. Inside, it's a different story. My father spent 18 months there with a French window that wouldn't close, bad and insufficient food, activities are done with whatever means were available and always the same. 1 outing in 18 months, no activities with the families. A relentless desire to take control of the residents' lives as if they were children. A detestable director, a psychologist paid to smoke cigarettes, staff in constant turnover, no connection can be created. Selling your house, paying €2,800 per month to be hungry, cold and looked down upon, my father and all the residents deserve better. If you love your loved one: run away!
