Our 94-year-old mother was admitted to the La Chocolatière nursing home in Noisiel in November 2024. From the moment she arrived, she was welcomed with great care and gentleness. My brother and I were relieved to know she was in such good hands. We wish to express our deepest gratitude to the entire team for their dedication throughout her stay until her passing on September 21, 2025. A heartfelt thank you to the medical staff, especially the caregivers and nurses, for their empathy, sensitivity, kindness, and great compassion. You were guardian angels to our mother. This facility has changed a great deal; now its sole focus is cost-cutting. The quality and quantity of meals leave much to be desired. The nursing staff struggles to assess and downplay residents' health conditions and fails to inform staff if a relative is hospitalized. The head nurse is unusually arrogant with an outsized ego. Don't expect management to reply to your emails if you have complaints. On the other hand, there are some admirable and dedicated nursing assistants, a remarkable psychologist, and the person in charge of admissions and billing. A huge thank you and my sincere gratitude to them. Évelyne Le Gall

Our 95-year-old mother was admitted in May 2024. She was pampered, cared for, and reassured. Thank you to all the staff for their dedication during her stay. Their kindness and professionalism are matched only by their efficiency. With limited resources—as in all these establishments—they managed to make her stay pleasant. As for us, her two daughters were relieved to know she was in good hands. Those who grumble over trifles should look elsewhere. Congratulations to your entire team; the condolence card was also appreciated. Silvine and Marie Christine C.

Like all senior living facilities, the resident must BE IN GOOD HEALTH and SOLVENT. My relative was hospitalized from July 27, 2024, until his death on September 19, 2024. No one from the Medical Service called me or the hospital to check on the resident. UNACCEPTABLE. I was the one who ANNOUNCED the death on the morning of September 20, 2024. I was referred to the Health Manager (not friendly), and she immediately told me to vacate the room WITHIN 3 DAYS so that work could be carried out. In 3 years spent in this facility, the curtains and drapes had never been washed or properly hung. She told me she hadn't reported it. Too loudly...and that I was taking advantage of this death to make my complaints. Unfortunately, I couldn't say everything anyway. They're always right... A month after the death, I received an email asking for proper follow-up. INCREDIBLE but TRUE. BE CAREFUL: Too many medications are administered daily. My relative was taking 20 pills a day. Check the Ameli summary, some are alarming, justified by my pharmacist. However, I thank Ms. Serdjane again; I've always had good contact with her, and she's very efficient. As for the receptionist, I have nothing more to say; we all know her. Good luck to all.

Hello, Response received by phone from a receptionist who is very unpleasant and only knows how to repeat coldly over and over again "The doctor does not communicate the reason for his refusal". Then she claims to be a medical secretary after questioning. Certainly, there would be space but she refuses to transfer me to a person who manages admissions to have an appointment on site. It would therefore seem that they only accept people with very little dependency for organizational reasons and lack of staff. Very disappointed.
