Appointment at 11:50 am for a wrist X-ray following a fall. Result: minor injury. 12:20 pm: Off to the ER. That's where the problem begins. At 5:00 pm, still in the waiting room, no one seems concerned. Unbelievable! Avoid this hospital; it's faster in La Roche-sur-Yon or Les Sables-d'Olonne, even with the travel time. 6:15 pm: Discharged from the ER with a cast.

Above all, do not put a terminally ill cancer patient in this hospital. They'll let her die a slow death, saying her pain is just an act. They'll leave her completely naked, alone in the small bathroom with the door closed. They won't come to listen to her, to give her the necessary medication to ease her suffering. They'll speak to her rudely (doctors and caregivers alike), won't give her anything to drink even though she's very thirsty and expresses it with gestures. They'll complain because you come to see her at 9 a.m. when she's living her last days. They won't take into account that she wants to die, that she's suffering and needs medication through palliative care, preferring to say she's not ready and it's not her time yet. They won't check on her every hour to see if she's still alive; it's up to us to call and ask them to come. Unfortunately, sometimes people there die alone, in indifference, and in pain. It's so sad. hospital.
