Incompetent

This isn't a hospital, there's no emergency room... It's a death trap!! My partner had brain surgery. In addition to developing COPD, four days after the operation he had severe headaches, and therefore, fearing a possible complication from the surgery, we went to the emergency room. After six hours in the ER, no brain scan was performed. My partner still hadn't received his medication, which he usually takes meticulously, and was in excruciating pain!! In short, the junior doctor on duty that evening, January 20, 2026, didn't even come to see him after five hours. We expressed our dissatisfaction. The only thing she cared about was getting rid of us. She arrived with her discharge summary, which ended up in the trash. The problem with the lack of resources is putting incompetent people, clearly lacking experience, in emergency departments which, as the name suggests, are for emergencies, even if brain cancer isn't. What does it take to be considered an emergency?! As a result, we went home without any follow-up examination. The other hospital in Marseille was waiting for the brain scan, and the emergency room doctor transferred my partner... In short, everyone should avoid this death trap. Travel a few extra kilometers if necessary to get treatment from real doctors; that's the sad reality.

Still as awful as ever, a complete and utter mess. I advise you to get yourself transported anywhere else, but DEFINITELY NOT TO CAVAILLON. Unless you have absolutely nothing left to lose and are looking for the ultimate solution, this is the place for you. Zero support, zero care, zero friendliness, zero competence. Perfect for the end of your life, otherwise, RUN AWAY!!! One small point: A huge thank you to the two or three nurses and one or two doctors who managed to raise the department's rating thanks to their kindness and dedication. A special mention to the life of the party who brings a bit of cheer to the place. These rare individuals make you almost forget the distress that reigns in the department. I've rewritten this post to be more toned down because the first one, which was much more scathing, was deleted. If you still go despite this, I wish you good luck, but I know it's wishful thinking.

Taken in charge by the 15th, my mother (87 years old) went to the emergency room during the night. Admittedly, the environment isn't great, but apart from the reception staff, the caregivers are very friendly, professional, and competent. The X-ray took a very long time (2 hours), and the advice and care provided were gentle. The major drawback: a homeless man sleeps in the waiting room, snoring, and then comes and goes without any trouble, taking advantage of all the patients! Unbelievable!

(Translated by Google) Total incompetence and zero seriousness. It's like they're just waiting for a patient with half their head missing before they finally take us seriously... unbelievable.
