EHPAD des Glières

Many thanks to this family-sized nursing home that accepted the care of my disabled father with mild Alzheimer's. Friendly and professional staff. The rooms are a bit dated but clean. Multiple activities are offered depending on the month of the year. My father received good end-of-life support. Our family was always informed of the slightest change in his situation until the end.

My mother-in-law has miraculously "resurrected" in this facility: a colorful and bright space, an exceptional view of the mountains, and a lovely, respectful, and always cheerful staff who are completely dedicated to the well-being of the residents, all despite serious recruitment and funding problems. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it lasts as long as possible because these facilities are truly in danger; they seem to have been abandoned by the government in terms of budget allocation.
