Avoid... Setting and doctor not up to par. Protected Unit Les Iles = "prison" sorely lacking in activities. Little empathy and humanity from some caregivers. Many falls at night especially since there is little supervision. My Father went a week without drinking or eating, no IV, in addition during a heatwave, which led to his death.

We have several years of hindsight. Our mother regularly tells us she's doing well, and our father, unfortunately deceased, was accompanied with great humanity. The teams are attentive; the doctor is a good listener and very accessible. The small garden is very pleasant in good weather. Everyone does their best given the reality of current working conditions in healthcare facilities.

Staff not up to par, patients go to bed more than 24 hours late. Patients catch urinary infections, nurses ignore them, the doctor of La Douix doesn't give a damn about the elderly. It's the children who call emergency services, not with 6 blood pressure, it's shameful Staff not up to par, doesn't care about residents, building very poorly maintained

Very clean premises. Kind and dedicated staff. Several activities for residents, and a garden for walks. Very, very good.
